MEXICAN CHIC APARTMENT is located on the 3rd floor inside a building that houses Galeria Nepantla. It has an open floor plan kinda like New York City artist loft meets Mexico. A passive solar architect designed it with great ventilation and filtered sunlight. The interior contains recycled wood pallets to create the 15 foot tall ceilings with metal beams set against the hand made brick walls. Mexican carved wooden furniture and the simplicity of the minimalist movement creates a rustic elegance.

Guests enter thru the garage patio greeted by the host and her deer head chihuahua, "Miga", meaning "bread crumb" in spanish. She is a close ancestor to the  "techichi", which were used in healing rituals to remove cancer and lung "enfermedades", 500 years ago.

French doors open into a majestic art gallery with 2 story high ceilings and Mexican crafted chandeliers, that gives you a sense of  possibilities and creativity.  Take the wide industrial stairs to your 3rd floor loft apartment. Miga may accompany you to your apartment and ask for a belly rub.
